I was an amateur photographer till recently but when I decided to try my hands on trick photography and special effects, I needed a decent camera. I retired my old camera and started looking for something better to suit my requirement. But the problem was, I hardly knew my requirements. Then I took the help of my friend Evan Sharboneau who is an icon in trick photography and special effects. He helped me select the right camera. After going through many cameras we selected Nikon 1528 Df 16.2 MP CMOS FX-Format Digital SLR Camera.
Every photographer's style demands different requirement in the camera that he uses. I decided to buy Nikon 1528 primarily because of three factors.
1) Its capability to shoot good picture in very very low light conditions.
2) Its mechanical dial type knob to change shutter speed. A very important criteria when you are trying to create those special effects.
3) Its reasonable price when compared with very high resolution expensive cameras. I was ready to trade off resolution with Nikon 1528's capability to shoot well under very low light conditions.
After I bought this camera, I wanted to learn the basics of trick photography and special effects. I bought Evan's eBook after seeing his mind boggling pictures which I would like to share with you all.
